Emerging Technologies

By Zach Babich Brown

Technology is an ever changing part of our life.  Think back five to ten years and remember the type of stuff that was "cutting edge" technology.  That same stuff has no place in our life except for nostalgia and maybe a museum.

Cell phones were primitive compared to the Wi-Fi enabled, GPS capable, video recording units that we enjoy today.  DVD players were the "new thing" and were just catching on.  Now they are not just a given for almost every home, but are found in cars, handheld versions, and laptops.

We have come along way just in this short time, but we are not slowing down.  Everything around us is being made BIGGER and BETTER, with more more extensive and more refined feature sets.  This trend will continue on this path, as technology has become so ingrained in our lives today.

This section of the website will keep tabs on the New and Emerging Technologies around us, as well as what is still to come.  This is our little window in the the future possibilities that technology has in store for us.
